Newsbriefs 1971-1993.

Consists of monthly Newsbriefs publications which are arranged chronologically. In 1972, the LRC began publishing Newsbriefs with "Series #'s" and is maintaining them currently. This series number structure is reflected in the arrangement of the collection. Articles cover a wide spectrum of interests from a community referral center to homes for the aged, hospitals and universities. Through these items LRC tries to provide leads to all types of resources: financial grants, gifts in kind, books, films, volunteer services, advice, consultation opportunities, seminars, contacts, know-how in widening a supporting constituency, in grant solicitation, and in grant regulation proposals. The aim of Newsbriefs is to tell the audience what is available and how to get it.
